Responsibilities
  • Timely preparation, review, and filing of various tax returns
  • Assisting in research and efficiency projects
  • Preparing and reviewing supporting schedules for tax provisions featured in the financial statements
  • Handling the preparation and review of responses to federal and state tax notices or audits
  • Assisting with various projects within the Tax department or across departments as necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus on accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Credential with unlimited representation rights before the IRS (such as CPA, Juris Doctorate, or Enrolled Agent)
  • Two (2) years of public accounting experience covering a minimum of three of the following areas: C Corporation, S Corporation, individual tax, Partnership, or Trust
  • Proficiency with tax preparation software like ProSystem Fx, CorpTax, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with tax research software and tax provision software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree with a focus on taxation or a related field
  • Experience with tools like Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, or other data reporting tools
  • Background in sales and use tax
  • Experience in preparing tax provisions
