POSITION SUMMARY
The Equipment and Material Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Havtech LLC's Service Department by facilitating the collection and distribution of tools and materials essential for service operations. This role also encompasses the organization and upkeep of equipment storage areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver parts and materials promptly to Service Technicians at various job sites as needed.
- Efficiently load and unload tools and materials.
- Collaborate with Service Coordinators and Area Service Managers to optimize the scheduling and delivery of materials.
- Ensure timely provision of materials to subcontractors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Service and Solutions warehouse and storage spaces.
- Oversee the check-in process for material deliveries to the Havtech Solutions Department.
- Repair or arrange for the repair of tools and equipment as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of inventory for Havtech Service equipment and parts.
- Manage rigging equipment effectively.
- Assist in coordinating Fleet Management activities.
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Support Service Technicians within the scope of capabilities.
- Proactively engage in additional projects and responsibilities as required.
- Exhibit flexibility to work outside of standard hours when necessary.
SUPERVISORY ROLE
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS include:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Dependability and punctuality are crucial, along with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A self-driven attitude with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to seeking additional responsibilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
- Ability to think independently and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to travel independently.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- An interest in HVAC and the potential for transitioning into a service-related career path with Havtech is highly preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
