Job Overview

Insight Global is in search of a Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect for our esteemed jewelry insurance client. This pivotal role will serve as a cornerstone in the development of Information Security technologies, protocols, and compliance measures. The selected candidate will primarily collaborate with IT departments and business units as the technical authority on Information Security. Additionally, this position will engage with external security partners, vendors, and IT auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and sustain secure, robust enterprise-level cloud processes in collaboration with architects and systems engineers.
  • Configure and oversee security technologies within cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain designated security technologies including DLP, SIEM, IAM/PAM, Web Proxies, EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, External Attack Surface Reduction, CSPM, and various Cloud Security Toolsets (e.g., EntraID, AWS Watchguard & Cloudtrail).
  • Act as the primary engineering liaison with the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service provider.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate anomalies related to security and information systems based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, and automated security alerts.
  • Conduct technical audit remediation.
  • Support security governance for both internal and external programming initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of IT security architecture, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures that align with enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure preparedness for internal and external audits concerning IT security and manage relationships with external information security partners.
  • Lead medium to large-scale projects and initiatives that bolster information security practices and policies.
  • Participate in off-hours support rotation as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of demonstrable, hands-on technical security experience.
  • Expertise in various security tools functioning within a cloud environment, particularly Azure, EntraID, and M365 Defender, with AWS as a secondary focus.
  • Strong comprehension of SIEM management and enterprise-level security technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud computing environments, distributed applications, and cloud network security layers.
  • Familiarity with system hardening processes (CIS), tools, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Fundamental understanding of encryption technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage medium to large information security projects while ensuring high quality and effectiveness.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity to clarify requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:
  • CISSP, CCSP, GCLD, GCSA, SC-100, AZ-305, GSEC, or equivalent.
