Role: Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Security Operations, including risk management, leading Security Operations Centers (SOC), ensuring IT compliance, and conducting Information Security assessments.
  • Guide and mentor a team of Security Engineers, promoting a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous enhancement.
  • Design and implement secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures for cloud-based applications.
  • Possess a strong understanding of security controls in relation to regulatory standards such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with enterprise security solutions, including Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
  • Manage alerts and insights from various security solutions, including SIEM, Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Application Security toolsets.
  • Utilize industry-leading security tools such as Splunk ES, Trend Micro, Prisma, Sonarqube, Tenable, and cloud-native security services.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies across all IT systems and processes, participating in technical assessments to support compliance efforts.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and actively manage the vulnerability lifecycle.
  • Monitor and evaluate the organization's security posture, reporting on threats, breaches, and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges and enhance the overall security framework.
  • Develop and review system security plans, information security policies, contingency plans, and incident response strategies.
  • Update and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the incident response process, including the investigation and reporting of security incidents.
  • Create comprehensive security reports for senior management and executives.
  • Possess architecture certification from a major cloud platform (Google, Amazon, Azure).
  • Stay informed about emerging security trends, threats, and technologies.
  • CISSP certification is mandatory.
