Logistics Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Vacaville, CA

Experience Required: 3+ Years

This role is fully onsite.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Warehouse Coordinator is accountable for executing daily material management functions within a multi-temperature controlled Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) warehouse setting. This position is essential in supporting operational goals and objectives through the utilization of both manual and electronic systems, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee raw material management tasks, including but not limited to: receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, picking, verifying, delivering, handling returns, and conducting cycle counts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of inventory levels and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Input various transactional orders into SAP systems to facilitate warehouse operations.

GMP and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all risk assessments, safety protocols, and GMP requirements relevant to assigned tasks. Participate in and successfully complete all necessary training sessions, ensuring that your training profile is consistently updated.

Complete all documentation in accordance with GMP and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with client global requirements.

Maintain responsibility for all GMP Warehouse Records and logbooks, ensuring that outdated versions are replaced and records are archived properly.

Conduct housekeeping activities in the area, promptly reporting any issues, shortages, or equipment malfunctions.

Ensure all work areas are consistently prepared for audits.

Uphold 6S principles across all warehouse and storage locations.

Communication and Time Management:

Foster positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes that meet the highest standards of compliance with site and regulatory requirements.

Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and a responsible, team-oriented approach.

Support Lean initiatives and actively participate in continuous improvement efforts within the department, questioning existing practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform inspections and operate forklifts and other manual handling equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong numerical and literacy skills with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment, familiar with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SAP WMS/ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated awareness of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and GMP standards.
  • Motivated individual capable of meeting tight deadlines while maintaining EHS and GMP processes.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in GMP and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) warehouse operations.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
