Logistics Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Vacaville, CA

Experience Required: 3+ Years

This role is strictly onsite.

Position Overview:

The Logistics Warehouse Coordinator is accountable for executing daily material management tasks within a multi-temperature controlled Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) warehouse setting, which supports operational objectives through both manual and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee raw material management functions, including but not limited to: receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, picking, verifying, delivering, handling returns, and conducting cycle counts.
  2. Ensure stock level accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.
  3. Input various transactional orders into SAP systems to facilitate warehouse operations.

GMP and Safety Duties:

  1. Adhere to all risk assessments, safety protocols, and GMP standards relevant to assigned tasks.
  2. Participate in and successfully complete all required training sessions, ensuring training profiles are current.
  3. Complete all documentation to GMP/DI standards, ensuring compliance with global and regulatory requirements.
  4. Manage all GMP Warehouse Records and logbooks, ensuring timely updates and compliant archiving of records.
  5. Conduct housekeeping activities, promptly reporting issues, shortages, or equipment malfunctions.
  6. Maintain audit readiness across all areas.
  7. Implement 6S principles in all warehouse and storage locations.

Communication and Time Management:

Foster positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to high standards and compliance with site and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a customer-oriented approach.

Continuous Improvement:

Support Lean methodologies and actively participate in departmental improvement initiatives, questioning existing practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and operate forklifts and other manual handling equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong numerical and literacy skills with a focus on accuracy.
  2. Prior warehouse experience, proficient in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SAP WMS/ERP systems.
  3. Demonstrated awareness of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and GMP practices.
  4. Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining EHS and GMP compliance.
  5. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Experience in GMP and GDP warehouse operations, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
