Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development and Execution
    • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and develop new menu items and specials, taking into account seasonal ingredient availability and customer preferences.
    • Ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
    • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Management
    • Lead and mentor our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all menu items meet our high standards.
    • Identify and address any quality control issues promptly.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and comply with our safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular safety and sanitation audits to ensure that our kitchen meets all regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or formal apprenticeship preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior kitchen management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
