Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Loews Hotel & Resorts. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our restaurants operate at the highest level of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staffing levels in all restaurant kitchens to ensure optimal performance of all duties.
  • Represent the Chef in their absence and provide leadership to the culinary team.
  • Administer and ensure adherence to departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and promotions.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and food costs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
