Residential Support Specialist

Hildebrand is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for families experiencing homelessness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and welcoming living environment, ensuring the overall safety and well-being of residents.
- Ensure each family has a safe, clean, and adequately furnished room.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the facility is clean and orderly, including room cleanliness and chore completion.
- Oversee and monitor community living rules, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Residential Manager and Case Manager to develop and implement re-housing plans, supporting families in achieving independence and self-sufficiency.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and other activities to stay up-to-date on program functions and required skills.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in Human Services or a Residential Program setting.
- Ability to work well with clients, family members, and colleagues, ensuring client confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must be physically able to lift 25 pounds and navigate multiple flights of stairs independently.
- CPR/SFA certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish preferred.
