Roadway Design Professional

We are seeking an experienced Roadway Design Engineer to join our team in Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile transportation projects and contribute your skills and expertise to helping us achieve our mission.
As a Roadway Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing roadway projects for ODOT and LPA clients. You will work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and developing roadway projects for ODOT and LPA clients
- Creating and reviewing project design calculations, quantity takeoffs, specifications, plans, and contract documents
- Working within the Transportation Team
- Working within project schedules and budgets
- Applying ODOT design manual and AASHTO principles to highway design
- Utilizing roadway design CADD software
- Providing leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in roadway design, preferably with ODOT and LPA clients
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
