Key Responsibilities
  • Traffic Engineering Design: Design traffic engineering elements, including traffic signals, roadway lighting, signage, pavement markings, ITS infrastructure, and work zone traffic control.
  • Traffic Analysis and Modeling: Conduct traffic analysis and modeling using various software tools, such as Highway Capacity Software (HCS), Synchro, Sidra, and PTV software tools (Vissim/Vistro/Visum).
  • Safety Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze safety data, including crash data review, crash rate calculations, and Highway Safety Manual (HSM) analysis.
  • Development-Related Traffic Impact Analysis: Develop traffic impact analyses for major development projects.
  • Transportation Management Plans: Prepare transportation management plans for significant roadway improvement projects.
  • Traffic-Related Technical Documents: Create technical documents and reports related to traffic engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: A Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Professional Engineer License: A Professional Engineer license is also required.
  • 4+ Years of Experience: At least 4 years of experience in traffic engineering is necessary.
About the Opportunity

This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, GAI Consultants provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, company-paid long-term disability, and short-term disability insurance.
