We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Coastal Ecology Group, Llc. This exciting role will involve working on various transportation projects including traffic operations and safety, roadway design, bridge design, transportation planning, and environmental considerations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct work on transportation projects involving traffic operations and safety, roadway design, bridge design, transportation planning, and environmental considerations
  • Manage the preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications for major and minor projects
  • Participate in contract bidding and administration as needed
  • Supervise and observe the design and ongoing progress of projects, including coordination with local officials and other outside agencies

As a Highway Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating and interacting with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate to the project. You will also be expected to participate in ensuring that all projects are completed within budget and meet the required standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
  • 5-10 years of experience in the transportation industry, preferably in Tennessee
  • Professional Engineer, P.E. certification is required
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of software systems such as HCS, SYNCHRO, SIDRA, CORSIM, VISSIM, CUBE, TransCAD, Microstation, and Microsoft Office

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
