About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Sales Consultant to join our team at Dal-Tile. The successful candidate will provide exceptional interior design and product expertise to our customers, ensuring a seamless customer experience and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive interior design advice and product selection guidance to customers.
  • Facilitate tile and stone selection, project development, and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Log client showroom visits, contact information, and customer preference notes in CMT.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members to drive sales closure and follow-up.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities with Custom Builders and Residential Designers.
  • Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and displaying products.
  • Host showroom tours and events to drive customer engagement and sales.
Requirements
  • A four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and customer management tools.
  • Experience in design, sketching, and reading blueprints is a plus.
Benefits

The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 per year, with quarterly incentives and additional compensation packages available.
