Role Overview

In this role, you will take the lead in managing all phases of projects and be responsible for producing essential documentation to ensure design excellence. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, or Revit is required, along with a solid understanding of materials, assemblies, and best practices for interior detailing and construction processes. Experience in overseeing construction administration and a portfolio of completed projects will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across various design projects from inception to completion, focusing on luxury hospitality, commercial spaces, and high-end residential environments; manage specific work streams throughout each project.
  • Create comprehensive drawing and specification packages, ensuring accurate documentation during schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
  • Work in conjunction with FF&E and diverse design teams to generate plans, elevations, and details that reflect the design intent in documentation packages.
  • Support material selection processes, develop specifications, and evaluate contractor submissions for alignment with design objectives.
  • Contribute to the establishment of office documentation standards and best practices.
  • Engage in project coordination, construction oversight, site evaluations, and uphold quality control during the construction phase as necessary.
  • Foster collaboration with clients, designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, complemented by an educational background in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple tasks from design inception through to completion across all design phases.
  • Exceptional production skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and/or Revit.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in construction administration is a plus.

Compensation Range

· $110-125k
