Job Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in Euclid, Ohio. As an Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
  • Support and drive Continuous Improvement activities to enhance manufacturing processes and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits to identify defects and potential causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, and Research and Development, to design, introduce, and maintain new and existing equipment.
  • Develop and maintain records, and follow projects through to conclusion.
  • Utilize measurement and inspection tools, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pins, Gauges, Protractor, and Scale, to ensure accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Apply knowledge of IPC workmanship standards and related specifications to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Work closely with employees on the shop floor to provide guidance, training, and feedback to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Identify and tag non-conforming items, and assist in quality training and performance feedback to production personnel.
  • Conduct employee, work center, and piece check audits as required, and initiate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) determinations.
  • Report safety near misses and incidents, and assist in diagnosing and repairing non-conforming machines or PC Boards.
Requirements
  • Vocational training and 3+ years of experience in a relevant work environment, or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of experience in a relevant work environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain records, and follow projects through to conclusion.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of manufacturing engineering and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and the Windows operating system.
  • Ability to use measurement and inspection tools, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Pins, Gauges, Protractor, and Scale.
  • Ability to use a digital multimeter (DMM) to make electrical measurements.
  • Skills in equipment and/or electronics troubleshooting are desirable.
  • Capable of frequent standing and walking, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (although very rare).
