Job Summary:

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our Cleveland, Ohio manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our consumable division.

About the Role:

The Quality Assurance Technician will provide technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, maintaining, and analyzing technical data to inform quality decisions.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Lincoln Electric Quality Management System.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous product and process improvement.
  • Maintaining quality performance metrics and records.
  • Assisting with the evaluation and disposition of non-conforming items and materials.
  • Developing and performing random process and product audits.
  • Providing training and performance feedback to production personnel.

Requirements:

  • Level III: Vocational training and 5+ years of related experience, or an Associate's degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 7+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Technical training in Quality Assurance or Root Cause Analysis is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in MS Office and Windows operating system.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, quality assurance tools, procedures, and measurement techniques is preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain records and to follow projects through to conclusion.
  • Excellent oral, written communication, and people skills, organizational skills.
  • Capable of frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
