Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS). As a key member of our Patient Contact Center, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide world-class customer service to patients and families via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely care.
- Collect and verify patient information, including demographic and insurance data.
- Process patient payments and resolve billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in computer software, including email, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records (EHRs).
