Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Marketing Operations Lead to join our team in Washington, DC. As a key member of our non-profit advocacy organization, you will play a vital role in leading marketing and product-related projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in Project Management and excellent communication skills. This is a 12-month consulting opportunity with a hybrid schedule that supports remote work on Monday and Friday, and on-site Tuesday through Thursday in the Washington, DC office.

You will be responsible for coordinating project managers across stakeholder teams, ensuring timely completion of objectives and scope. Your expertise will be valuable in managing Discovery and Design phases, as well as implementing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement marketing and product-related projects to meet business objectives.
  • Lead internal and external stakeholder teams to ensure timely completion of project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project workspace and communication plans to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Focus on milestone-based management rather than task-oriented.
  • Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and develop new procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Senior Project Managers with experience in technical and non-technical projects, preferably in marketing-related fields.
  • Strong soft skills, including leadership through influence, flexibility, and ambiguity management.
  • Ability to think proactively, collaborate with staff at various levels, innovate, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex projects required.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
