Job Summary:

This position directly manages the construction and installation of an Outside Plant (OSP) network (poles, aerial, buried, and underground fiber facilities) within a specified market area.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage OSP crews' activity to ensure dates and objectives are met.
Ensure OSP crews are following proper safety guidelines.
Ensure OSP crews are meeting NESC code for aerial construction.
Partner with procurement on material forecast and scheduling.
Coordinate with contractors on all permit needs.
Create relationships with local partners.

Requirements:

*Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
*Experience: 5+ years' technical experience working in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations.
*Key Competencies: Strong understanding of OSHA rules, National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements, Federal, and local (municipality) regulations, ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, proven project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple projects in various geographical areas, excellent verbal and written communication skills, honesty, integrity, and courtesy in all interactions, strong work ethic in supporting customer needs, responding promptly and consistently.
