Position Overview

The Records Management Coordinator is responsible for the comprehensive management of records, ensuring their proper creation, circulation, storage, tracking, transfer, and retention in accordance with Epiq's service agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the registration of new records and oversee their circulation within the Records Management System (RMS) database.
  • Prepare inactive records for offsite storage or digitization, including file culling as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventories of records housed at client locations or with offsite storage providers.
  • Support clients in retention and transfer processes, including file retrieval, index preparation, and shipment logistics.
  • Assist in organizational clean-up efforts, focusing on triage, categorization, and appropriate storage or disposal of materials.
  • Generate reports detailing the activities and performance of the Records Department.
  • Ensure meticulous tracking and documentation of all charges, overtime, logs, and entries.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Capability to lift or move items weighing 40 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to remain mobile, including walking, bending, kneeling, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
  • Preferred Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday (In-office position, no remote work available)

The compensation for this role ranges from $17.50 to $23.08 per hour, with potential eligibility for an annual bonus. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
