Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician III to join our team in the Structural Heart division. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.

You will determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process, working with engineers in conducting experiments. You will also observe and comply with all safety rules and regulations, including QSR and ISO Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather test data, present, and share with the engineering team.
  • Support engineering characterization studies.
  • Perform equipment setup and corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance as necessary.
  • Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
  • Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • May develop or revise documents and procedures.
  • Certify manufacturing associates in the production processes.
  • Evaluate and order necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Provide work direction to other employees in the work group.
  • Actively participate in comprehensive development of plans, including an outline of duties and project assignments.
  • Solve unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years related work experience. May also require a license or certification in the area of expertise.
  • Thorough understanding of product or systems fundamentals in cross-functional areas.
  • Experience with coordinating equipment calibration and preventative maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Recommends/utilizes/interprets advanced numerical and statistical data and/or computer software programs to present documentation and analysis and resolve complex problems.

Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm with potential overtime.
