Job Title: Quality Manufacturing Laboratory Technician

Volt is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manufacturing Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for testing and processing DNA samples in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and process DNA samples using various analytical instruments
  • Operate equipment in a chemical lab environment, including pipetting small volumes and handling delicate samples
  • Work with production personnel, scientists, and communicate effectively to ensure accurate processing and results
  • Coordinate testing and ensure accurate processing and results
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience or associate or higher degree for entry to this level
  • Ability to run analytic instruments
  • Sufficient dexterity and physical capabilities to manually pipette accurately in small volumes using pipette and small tubes
  • Must be able to work in a quality lab using appropriate personal protective equipment, including latex gloves
  • Basic computer skills - Excel, Word, and general interface with computers
Preferred:
  • Experience with PCR testing
  • Experience with manual pipetting in very small volumes or automated pipetting
