Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Quality Manufacturing Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for testing and processing DNA samples, utilizing various analytical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and process DNA samples, including routine production samples and development samples.
  • Operate analytical instruments and equipment, including those with computer interfaces.
  • Handle and transfer small samples with precision, including pipetting small volumes.
  • Measure production samples or run production processes.
  • Work collaboratively with production personnel, scientists, and other team members to ensure accurate processing and results.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience or associate or higher degree for entry to this level.
  • Ability to run analytic instruments.
  • Sufficient dexterity and physical capabilities to manually pipette accurately in small volumes using pipette and small tubes.
  • Must be able to work in a quality lab using appropriate personal protective equipment, including latex gloves.
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and general interface with computers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PCR testing.
  • Experience with manual pipetting in very small volumes or automated pipetting.
