Job Summary

Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead industrial safety programs to protect employees and ensure compliance with regulations

• Oversee all aspects of daily manufacturing and production operations, including production rates and plant operations

• Calculate production demands and configure plant operations to meet production requirements

• Achieve teaching level of knowledge and demonstrate proficiency in all production jobs and departments

• Troubleshoot and correct issues in liquid production, ice production, ammonia refrigeration, and other areas

• Read and assess Profit and Loss statements and take corrective action in areas of control

• Practice good manufacturing management principles and adhere to established best practices in hiring, promoting, directing, reviewing, disciplining, and motivating employees

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field

• 7-9 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively

• Prior forklift experience and background in screw compressors, ammonia refrigeration systems, and/or hydraulics a plus
