Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and hire top talent for various roles within the company.
  • Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide HR support to management and employees, including training, coaching, and conflict resolution.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Manage employee data and maintain accurate records.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Proficiency in HR Core Competencies, including Recruitment and Employee Onboarding processes.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Professionalism, tact, and presentation skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Responsiveness and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently. Bilingual, Spanish-speaking proficiency required.
Work Environment

Internal office space. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
