Position Overview:
Zurich North America is seeking a Construction Casualty Underwriting Account Service Leader to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a hybrid work environment, requiring three days in the office each week.

Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal member of Zurich's Operations management team, you will:

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the Energy Underwriting Account Servicing team to provide tailored, value-added services for both existing and prospective large accounts.
  • Oversee all operational functions related to high-volume, mid-sized to large accounts.
  • Manage a team of Underwriting Associates, serving as the primary contact for clients and underwriting leadership.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to present solution options for international programs, prospects, and renewals.
  • Provide strategic oversight and lead critical checkpoint processes for international teams.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the Insurance, Underwriting, or Market Facing sector.
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice status, including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, including legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in a performance-driven production environment.
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing operational budgets.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Advanced problem-solving, relationship-building, active listening, needs analysis, and negotiation skills.

Compensation:
Compensation for this role at Zurich varies based on several factors, including office location, role, skill set, and experience level. Zurich is committed to providing a reasonable range of compensation in good faith as required by local law. Additional rewards may include short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases.
