Job Summary

Tempus Unlimited Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides community-based services to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Liaison Associate to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between consumers, participants, and/or personal care assistants (PCAs)/direct care workers (DCWs) and Tempus Unlimited Inc.
  • Respond to consumer/participant and/or PCA/DCW inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide in-person assistance, either scheduled or ad-hoc, related to documentation or program-related questions.
  • Help resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies related to reporting of activity time.
  • Work with applicable parties to determine Personal Assistance (PA)/Waiver (WA) status and if new PA/WA needs to be requested.
  • Work with applicable parties to address and resolve PCA/DCW payment issues.
  • Respond to issues that have been escalated by consumers/surrogates/administrative proxies/waiver participants and/or PCAs/DCWs.
  • Receive visitors and determine their needs, directing them to the appropriate person.
  • Maintain visitor and ID badge registers, issuing ID badges where appropriate.
  • Deal with inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Perform administrative work, including supporting other departments, as needed and as time allows.
  • Report all suspected incidents of consumer sexual/physical abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC).
Requirements
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Professional, friendly, and understanding personality.
  • Punctuality and dependability.
  • Ability to work efficiently as a team player as well as individually with minimal direction.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Ability to consistently maintain and build positive working relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with office machines, equipment, and software.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. The Regional Liaison Associate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with various stakeholders, including consumers, participants, PCAs, DCWs, and other staff members.
