Job Overview

The City of Beaumont, TX is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this part-time role, you will assist the Budget Officer and Fiscal Assistant with various financial aspects, including grant programs and accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with financial tasks such as report preparation and data entry
  • Perform various computations with accuracy and speed
  • Analyze problems and develop recommendations


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance preferred
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel


Estimated Salary: $13.00 hourly

Benefits:

This part-time position does not offer benefits.

Working Conditions:
This role is based in a normal office environment and requires working hours between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
