Job Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks, creating financial reports, and performing analysis. You will also monitor and maintain inventory and fixed assets, maintain vendors, resources, and subcontractors, complete accounts payable and receivable activities, coordinate and administer timesheets, and provide HR administrative support.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As an employee of SERVPRO of Beaumont, you will receive competitive pay, benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, free uniforms, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Create financial reports and perform analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, resources, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
  • Complete accounts payable and receivable activities, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Coordinate and administer timesheets, ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked and overtime.
  • Provide HR administrative support, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Pro (most recent versions)
  • 2+ years of experience with collection activities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar
  • Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to learn new software, including Xactimate and proprietary software
  • Associate degree in accounting preferred or strong professional background of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Work Environment

You will work in a flexible schedule of 40 hours/week, with the possibility of working overtime when required. The working hours will vary between 8 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
