The Parenting Partnership Program provides home visiting support, parent education, advocacy, and referrals to families facing multiple stressors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet parents' goals in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families.
  • Conduct weekly home visits to provide support and education on stress management, parenting skills, health education, and home safety.
  • Assist families in identifying and connecting with services and resources to meet their needs.
  • Coordinate services and provide case management as needed.
  • Assess risk factors through observation and interviewing.
  • Document client and collateral contacts accurately and complete reports in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in a related field supporting multi-stressed families.
  • Ability to establish supportive relationships with families and demonstrate good listening skills.
  • Knowledge of local health and human services and community resources is desirable.
  • Experience parenting or working with children is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of the Strengthening Families philosophy and family support principles.
  • Ability to structure time and responsibilities independently and plan activities for clients' homes.
  • Ability to work with families at high risk for child abuse, substance abuse, and violence.
  • Ability to work with other professionals in the community and coordinate services.
What We Offer

This is a 20-hour per week year-round position with a salary range of $19-$21 per hour and benefits including paid time off, vision, and dental insurance.
