Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

Job Summary:
Corps Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Technology Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff, as well as maintaining and upgrading our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff members, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain and upgrade computer systems and networks, including hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to ensure network security and implement new technologies.
  • Support the deployment of AI-driven network optimization tools and maintain network configurations.
  • Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in networking, security, and AI, and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Working towards associate or bachelor's degree in information technology.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and subnetting.
  • Familiarity with network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Exposure to cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and AI services is a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
  • Daily travel in local area during workday (including use of personal vehicle).

Special Position Notations:
  • This is a part-time position.
  • This is a paid internship that requires hours a week.
  • Hours would be within 8 am - 4 pm, but flexible based on existing school or work schedule.
