Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Technology Integration Specialist to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for assisting projects and programs in meeting technical requirements through technology improvements and incorporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate the Command's approach to technology insertion for assigned programs and focus on the Command's pursuit of advanced technology.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and technology demonstrators, both foreign and domestic.
  • Maintain an awareness of Marine Corps requirements to develop strategies for incorporation of advanced technologies into near and far-term material solutions.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA).
Qualifications
  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience applying Defense Acquisition Program Management procedures and practices, including a sound understanding of matters dealing with workforce recruitment, training, qualifications, and professional development.
Education
  • Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
  • A successful completion of a professional engineering degree, including differential and integral calculus and courses in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: statics, dynamics, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical fields and circuits, and nature and properties of materials.
Additional Information

This is a Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS 14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 15 grade step 10 in the broadband.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
