Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new product support management concepts, corrective actions, and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with program managers and strategic business teams to develop, implement, and oversee strategic planning and portfolio management at the directorate level.
  • Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities, evaluate work performance, and provide guidance and advice to employees.
  • Create and refine commodity-specific procedures and processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of program IPTs.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in logistics management, program management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of product support management concepts, corrective actions, and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies, and safety concerns.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic planning and portfolio management at the directorate level.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
