We are excited to announce an opportunity to become part of our Food & Beverage Team as a Lead Mixologist at SLS South Beach in Miami.
Position Overview:Under the general supervision of the Restaurant Managers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of beverage and bar services. Collaborate with management to enhance the beverage service flow, which encompasses everything from order communication to inventory management and service delivery, while upholding the restaurant's standards.

3. Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
4. Efficiently prepare and serve beverages for guests and staff.
5. Deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
6. Adhere to state and local regulations regarding alcohol service.
7. Implement proper cash handling and inventory control procedures.
8. Conduct regular inventory checks of bar supplies.
9. Provide guests with accurate information about the venue and its offerings.
10. Anticipate the needs of guests and team members with a proactive approach.
11. Communicate effectively with management and staff to address guest requests.
12. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
13. Follow inventory control protocols diligently.
14. Successfully complete regular pour tests.
15. Keep all service stations stocked and organized.
16. Manage guest orders for in-room dining services.
17. Understand the operational dynamics of the restaurant and bar.
18. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menus and offerings.
19. Provide friendly and professional service at all times.
20. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Lead Mixologist Responsibilities:
1. Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels based on business demands.
2. Stay informed about market trends to ensure relevance in offerings.
3. Collaborate with management on ordering fresh produce for bar needs.
4. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to manage stock effectively.
5. Oversee the quality of garnishes and ensure proper preparation.
6. Maintain all necessary bar tools and equipment.
7. Lead the preparation of pre-batched cocktails for consistency.
8. Ensure all mixers and ingredients align with current menu offerings.
9. Assist in training bartenders and bar staff.
10. Conduct weekly inventory assessments and communicate needs.
11. Ensure adherence to pouring protocols among bartenders.
12. Collaborate with management on pricing and POS system accuracy.
13. Foster accountability among staff regarding beverage offerings.
14. Act as a liaison for standards implementation related to bar operations.
15. Innovate and create new cocktail recipes for the venue.
16. Collaborate with management on beverage cost management.
17. Plan and assist with special events related to bar services.
