Job Overview

The Sales Executive will effectively engage new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers, promoting Syringa Networks' diverse range of enterprise products and services to a broad spectrum of small and medium-sized business prospects. The offerings include:

  • Network transport solutions (Ethernet, Dark Fiber, Long Haul, and Metro Waves)
  • Voice services, both hosted and traditional, such as SIP or PRI
  • Internet connectivity services
  • SD-WAN solutions
  • Collocation services
  • Managed network offerings

In addition, the Sales Executive will identify and explore market opportunities, effectively presenting Syringa Networks' solutions through well-prepared and engaging presentations. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of both logical and physical network designs, including layer 2 and layer 3 elements, account strategies, financial implications, return on investment, and collaborative selling with Sales Engineering on intricate proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and oversee a strategic sales plan for both new and existing customer accounts
  • Identify potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and market analysis
  • Evaluate and prioritize the territory for qualified accounts and opportunities that align with Syringa Networks' solutions
  • Deliver product presentations in both formal and informal settings
  • Build and nurture customer relationships to enhance overall client satisfaction
  • Communicate relevant logistical details pertaining to customer orders
  • Be accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate and timely weekly activity reports
  • Keep updated monthly sales reports (Sales Funnel)
  • Stay informed about competitive landscape, product offerings, and market trends relevant to Syringa Networks
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in selling voice, IT, and network-based solutions on both domestic and international levels
  • Strong knowledge of IT/Network Administrator applications and business acumen
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage complex decision-making processes and varying sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Customer-focused urgency, providing prompt and knowledgeable responses to inquiries regarding quotes, service updates, and account-related issues
  • Ability to convey technical concepts in clear, customer-friendly language
  • Familiarity with IT and C-Level purchasing processes
  • Understanding of financial and technical drivers in Enterprise IT
  • Capability to formulate probing questions to uncover new IT challenges and identify opportunities for Syringa Networks solutions
  • Proven track record in driving sales and revenue growth in Voice, IT, and network sectors
  • Advanced knowledge of sales strategies, customer service, and relationship management, alongside strong oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills utilizing contemporary technology
  • High initiative and accountability, with a strong ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in PC applications such as Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, and Excel
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five to ten years of experience in IT or telecommunications outside sales
  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales/business development within telecommunications, particularly with large, complex accounts requiring technical design and application development
