This Role

WSP is currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Analyst for our operations. This role is dedicated to a specific client program, focusing on site contamination remediation projects alongside our Earth & Environment Team. Join a dynamic organization committed to fulfilling client objectives and addressing their challenges.Your Contributions

The ideal candidate will oversee the assessment and remediation of petroleum-contaminated sites to ensure the protection of groundwater resources.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Prioritizing tasks and monitoring project timelines and deliverables for site assessment and remediation initiatives.
  • Verifying investigation data within technical documentation, maps, and summary tables.
  • Drafting site-specific scopes of work for the procurement of assessment and remediation services.
  • Preparing written approvals and feedback for project reports and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with team members to make informed technical decisions and approve deliverables.
  • Engaging effectively in meetings and virtual discussions with property owners, consultants, and regulatory professionals.


Uphold responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company resources and conduct, adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resource Management, or a related life sciences discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in environmental protection, regulation, or health.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in site contamination assessment, remediation, or groundwater monitoring.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize complex workloads to meet established deadlines.
