Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to support our HR department by handling various administrative and operational tasks. This role focuses on administrative support, leave management, workers' compensation, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provides comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining accurate, confidential employee records. Additionally, manages HR databases (such as APD, LMS, and others) with attention to detail, ensuring precision and security.
  • Leave Management: Handles employee leave requests, including mandated (e.g., FMLA, ADA accommodations) and non-mandated leaves (e.g., personal leaves), ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies.
  • Benefits Administration: Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries about health, dental, retirement, and other benefits. Ensure clear and empathetic communication to help employees understand their options and address concerns.
  • Training and Development: Coordinates and organizes training programs, workshops, and learning opportunities that align with employee development and career growth goals.
  • Performance Management: Prepares materials and documentation for performance reviews, ensuring clarity and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with PHR certification being a plus.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR or administrative support is preferred.
  • Experience with HR software (ADP is preferred), recruitment processes, and labor laws is highly desirable.
