Job Summary

We are seeking an HRIS Operations Specialist to join our team at La Clinica de La Raza. As a key member of the Human Resources department, this role will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of HR records.

About the Role

This is a $55,000 - $65,000 per year salary position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of HR experience and/or Payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of Human Resources data entry, including inputting data into ADP, HR Payroll system, Time and Attendance System, and associated company systems.
  • Review, enter, and process all personnel changes in an accurate, complete, and timely manner, maintaining HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, leaves, warnings, etc.
  • Perform research when incomplete and/or inaccurate information is provided.
  • File Management includes maintaining, compiling, and updating personnel records and supporting documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the HRIS Manager and assist in the maintenance of HRIS system.
  • Monitor data integrity and assist in HR compliance audits.
  • Respond to routine requests for information and verifications of employment.
  • Routine data entry, report generation to support department initiatives and presentations, and systems updates. Process standard HR reports as requested.
  • Assist with preparation and analysis of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement within HRIS operations through timely acknowledgement of requests/calls, timely resolution of requests/calls, and improved first-line resolution.
  • Partner with the Payroll department and appropriate HR staff to research, analyze, and solve all timekeeping and HR-related issues.
  • Maintain files in accordance with policies for all active and terminated personnel files and ensure records are in compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory accreditation bodies.
  • Audit and ensure accuracy of electronic feeds between ADP and vendors. Reconcile vendor invoices against system of record. Monitor and process adds, changes, and terminations as necessary to maintain accurate and consistent alignment between employee enrollments and benefit premium invoices.
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in HR, Business, or related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One year experience processing status changes in HRIS (ADP WFN) such as new hires, I9's, terminations, pay, and status changes.
  • Minimum of two years HR experience and/or Payroll experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • PHR / SHRM-CP professional certification a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in ADP database structure, functions, and processes.
  • Proven familiarity with developing ad hoc reports using a report writer and query tools.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Proven self-sufficiency and creation of effective problem-solving solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 platform and ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, talent management, and other systems.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Proven excellent communication skills, including speaking up when errors have occurred.
  • Proven understanding of the relationship between HRIS and payroll, as well as its effects on benefits administration.
  • Proven experience being flexible in thought and displaying independent thought.
  • Experience with HR technology projects for system upgrades and enhancements preferred.
  • Ability to work across cultures and demonstrate support of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
