Position Overview:
The Sales Operations Specialist is tasked with managing customer orders to ensure a seamless experience that supports business growth and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a crucial role within the organization. Key duties include:

  • Providing product quotes based on customer specifications.
  • Processing product orders as per customer requests.
  • Completing necessary documentation prior to production.
  • Entering customer orders into the invoicing system.
  • Reviewing customer billing and invoicing for accuracy.
  • Updating and submitting quarterly Work In Progress (WIP) reports to the Vice President of Sales.
  • Offering customer support regarding orders, returns, shortages, damages, and backorders.
  • Processing customer credits in the invoicing system.
  • Supporting external sales representatives and their clients.
  • Reconciling vendor invoices with customer invoices.
  • Meeting with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Receiving products from vendors as required.
  • Maintaining organized customer order documentation.
  • Participating in external sponsorship events and company sales initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage stress.
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and invoicing systems.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $20-$24 per hour, with a competitive salary based on experience. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.

Working Conditions:
This position requires on-site presence. The physical demands include regular sitting, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity. Employees may also need to reach, stand, walk, and stoop. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
