Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with service technicians and advisors to ensure the timely coordination of parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance;
  • Uphold a clean and professional environment at the counter, work area, and stockroom;
  • Conduct inventory checks and maintain precise records of received items;
  • Organize parts in designated storage locations;
  • Process payments efficiently;
  • Utilize the parts catalog effectively to identify and discuss specific parts;
  • Fulfill orders from stock and perform weekly bin checks to verify inventory accuracy;
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed on service repair orders;
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers;
  • Handle phone inquiries, providing pricing information and additional details to customers;
  • Communicate effectively regarding the status of customer parts;
  • Collect payments from retail customers or secure credit authorizations;
  • Examine body shop estimates to confirm the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing;
  • Alert the parts manager about out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials;
  • Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record;
  • Exhibit a prompt and courteous demeanor;
  • Demonstrate strong communication abilities;
  • Maintain a positive and diligent work ethic;
  • Show eagerness to learn and improve;
  • Possess strong interpersonal and time management skills;
  • Ability to perform calculations including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume;
  • Willingness to adapt in a dynamic work environment;
  • Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
