Position Overview:

The Hardware Technician role involves crucial responsibilities in the realm of hardware setup and maintenance. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automated test equipment (ATE) and system-level test (SLT) hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installation, upkeep, and repair of ATE and SLT hardware components.
  • Oversee the installation and operation of thermal setups.
  • Perform installation and troubleshooting of motherboards and electronic boards.
  • Validate test setups and monitor sockets continuously for optimal performance.
  • Assist engineering requests as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge in IC testing setups and troubleshooting is essential.
  • Familiarity with thermal control systems and chiller operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical schematics and possess general mechanical expertise is beneficial.
  • Experience in repairing sockets under magnification and managing delicate pins is required.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds for setup installations and troubleshooting tasks.
