Position Overview:
The Hardware Technician will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of automated test equipment (ATE) and system-level test (SLT) hardware. This role involves ensuring optimal performance through effective thermal setup installation and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on ATE and SLT hardware.
- Oversee thermal setup installation and ensure proper operation.
- Conduct motherboard and E-board installation along with troubleshooting tasks.
- Validate test setups and monitor sockets on an ongoing basis.
- Assist engineering requests as needed.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in IC testing setups and troubleshooting (essential).
- Familiarity with thermal control systems and chiller operations (preferred).
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and possess a general understanding of mechanical principles (preferred).
- Experience in repairing sockets under a microscope and managing delicate pins (essential).
- Capable of lifting load boards weighing up to 25 pounds for setup and debugging (essential).
