Position Overview

JOB TITLE: Renal Care Registered Nurse

  • EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time

  • ORGANIZATION: Acute Dialysis Care

ROLE SUMMARY: The Renal Care RN delivers expert nursing services to individuals in acute care settings and rehabilitation facilities affiliated with the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and executes patient care plans in accordance with medical directives and organizational protocols
  • Oversees the nursing activities of team members
  • Maintains effective communication with healthcare partners
  • Records patient evaluations and therapeutic interventions
  • Manages the initiation and cessation of renal replacement therapies
  • Participates in mandatory training sessions and ensures precise documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid RN license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Prior experience in hemodialysis nursing preferred

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in medical/surgical, intensive care, coronary care, or emergency departments

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Willingness to engage in mandatory overtime as needed
  • Flexibility to travel between various healthcare facilities
  • Capability to manage high-pressure situations
  • Physical ability to maneuver hemodialysis equipment
