Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
In this role, you will provide exceptional preventative and supportive intra-operative care tailored to each patient's individual needs. We are looking for a team member who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.

You should possess comprehensive knowledge of advanced wound care modalities, including but not limited to negative pressure wound therapy, skin substitutes, maggot therapy, therapeutic compression wraps/dressings, total contact casts, and hyperbaric therapy.
You will be responsible for effectively managing and directing other staff members, such as certified nursing assistants, coordinators, licensed practical nurses, and technicians.
Efficiency and organization are essential as you care for multiple patients simultaneously while ensuring provider orders are executed and communicated to other coordinating healthcare providers, including home health, infusion centers, and follow-up referral visits.
Flexibility is required to work in both inpatient and outpatient wound care settings. You will also coordinate the transition of inpatient wound care patients to outpatient status, collaborating with case management, primary care physicians, and nursing staff.
Accurate and complete documentation for all patients by the end of the business day is crucial, including encouraging and ensuring the completeness of provider documentation.
What qualifications you will need:
- RN licensure (Nevada State RN Licensure within 3 months of employment).
- Prefer ACLS certification for wound care.
- ACLS certification required within one year for chamber operators.
- If a chamber operator, must pass HBO Technologist (CHT) or Nurse Exam (CHRN-Basic) within one year of employment.
- Critical Care Nursing Experience/Certification preferred.
- Pass National League of Nursing medication test with a score of 80% or greater.
