Job Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Cenergy International, you will engage in a range of electrical engineering activities, focusing on the design, planning, and oversight of components and systems utilized in BOP control systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research and develop electronic interface circuitry applications tailored for product control.

- Guide design teams in creating electrical schematics, interconnects, cabling, and assembly documentation.

- Define the scope and content of equipment during the initial design phases.

- Innovate applications for controls, instruments, and systems catering to commercial, domestic, and industrial sectors.

- Direct efforts to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing meet functional specifications and client expectations.

- Coordinate design initiatives to optimize the use of engineering expertise.

- Lead project management efforts, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget constraints while conducting evaluations.

- Establish design criteria in accordance with necessary codes and standards.

- Review contract specifications to confirm technical and regulatory compliance.

- Document and communicate design modifications to relevant internal and external stakeholders.

- Collaborate with the sales team to define engineering parameters for project quotations.

- Engage with clients to review project documentation and clarify requirements.

- Engineer components and assemblies for BOP control systems, ensuring compliance with customer contracts and applicable standards.

- Participate in design evaluations and provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams.

- Offer technical support during testing phases and review engineering documentation for approval.

- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Educational Background

- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing control systems is required.

- Familiarity with hazardous area standards, including ATEX, IECEx, and NEC, is preferred.

- Knowledge of ABS, DNVGL, and API standards related to BOP control systems is advantageous.

- CompEx training or equivalent certification is a plus.

Work Schedule

- Typical hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility in start and end times.

- Hybrid work options available after an initial period.

Compensation and Benefits

- The salary range for this position is between $100K and $120K annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
