We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Madison. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical services to patient care units, including transcription of orders, filing of reports, and arranging transportation and follow-up tests.
  • Answer phone calls, take and deliver messages, and maintain close communication with the Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.
  • Handle paperwork in a timely manner, including ordering supplies and verifying physician privileges.
  • Transcribe and flag orders from charts, and arrange for patient transport to external facilities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience with medical files and terminology.
