Job Description

At the Detroit Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Burn Unit team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals suffering from burn injuries.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to burn patients, including wound management, pain management, and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience in burn care or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
