Job Title: Registered Nurse - Burn ICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Burn ICU team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Burn ICU will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with burn injuries
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize interventions
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in critical care or burn nursing preferred
