Job Title: Registered Nurse - Burn Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center's Burn Unit. As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals with burn injuries.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Burn Unit will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to burn patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed
  • Providing education to patients and families on burn care and prevention
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of Michigan
  • At least 1 year of experience in a burn unit or critical care setting
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
