Job Title: Registered Nurse - Burn Unit

The Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Burn Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide exceptional patient care to individuals with burn injuries, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:
  • Provide direct patient care to burn patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to stay current on best practices in burn care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience in burn care or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
